AEP’s Picway Power Plant

American Electric Power’s Picway Power Plant photographed Thursday March 17, 2016 in Comercial Point, Ohio. The plant was retired after 89 years of service when its 59-year-old 100-MW Picway Unit 5 was shut down in May 2015. Picway’s first coal fired units began operation in 1926.
